Colour me fall ft. JORD watches

Hello loves! It’s wonderful to be back blogging, and to reach out to all you lovely readers through this platform. As much as I loved my vacation time, I’ve equally missed blogging. It just takes a while to set things back on track, and I’m happy to be back. 3 weeks of vacation got all my work piled up, and I’m feeling the heat now. But, I really need to thank team of JORD watches, they have been extremely patient with me, and have understood my commitments. I am super excited to have partnered with them for this collaboration.

I am pretty sure, JORD watches need no introduction, they are the leading brand for wood watches. I am one of their ardent fans, who is head over heels about their designs, the uniqueness, and the the numerous styles they offer. But why JORD? Just one word, Simplicity! I believe in simplicity being the ultimate sophistication, and these wood watches are just that. When I was offered this opportunity, my joy had no bounds, just to be associated with them was a great deal for me. Needless to say, It was a bonus when I received this exquisite work of art. These watches are made of 100% natural wood. They specialise in different types of wood watches, and are categorised according to the colour and the type of the wood. Ebony, Koa, Purpleheart, Zebrawood, Sandalwood, Rosewood, Maple, and Bamboo are the types/colors of watches they currently market. They also have varieties within these categories. I was asked to highlight and choose from one of these, Purpleheart and Plum, Dark Sandalwood, and Maple. All the three watches were so gorgeous that I was spoilt for choices. My mind, and heart was not exactly coordinating well in this case to choose one. I’m a sucker for vintage, and rustic things so, I was all for the dark sandalwood watch. But, the plum definitely caught my eye. Although I knew, that I wouldn’t be able to pair this with a lot of my outfits, this one just had my name written all over it. And, what better way to welcome fall than this beauty! This watch was screaming fall, and I had to grab it before I regretted my decision. Once, I was happy with my decision, I had my watch resized to fit my tiny wrist, and It was shipped within 7 business days. It came in this wood box packaging, with a dust cloth to maintain your watch. I was expecting the watch to be quite heavy considering that it’s made out of wood. But, it was surprisingly light, and also it was perfectly resized. I couldn’t wait to start styling it with my outfits. So, I went plum all the way to style this beauty!

Just like the watch, I wanted to dress casual, but be unique, and carefree at the same time. Featured in this look is a printed wrap around blouse that I had picked a couple of years ago from an online retail store in India. I absolutely love things that has a bit of Indian touch to it, and fusion is something that describes me. This blouse was all that I needed, and I couldn’t have created a better look than this one featuring the watch! I paired this fun blouse with a pair of light blue jeans, and added a pop of gold with some accessories. I love how the layered fringe necklace goes perfectly well with my gold brogues.
